Jessica Ekomane's debut LP, Multivocal, is brilliantly original, and will appeal to fans of Caterina Barbieri, Alessandro Cortini, Shasta Cults, ELEH, and the strand of minimal electronic music that runs through the Important catalog. Multivocal is a polyphonic maze that unfolds to both the body and the mind. A generative take on rhythm and spatial perception, it presents the same events in different configurations. The two pieces of the album, "Solid of Revolution" and "Never Odd or Even", mirror each other with the same principle in different musical scales: steady pulses with one millisecond difference in tempo start beating together, then slowly phase organically and progress into ever-changing rhythmic patterns until they finally return to unison. Multivocal emphasizes shifts of attention in the listener's experience and plays with the expectations that frame it. Originally conceived for quadraphonic sound, the pieces reveal the many different aspects and modes of perception that can arise within the same sequence of notes. In this way Multivocal is influenced by concepts of gestalt psychology such as multi-stable perception - a term describing ambiguous patterns that offer multiple interpretations at once. The minimalism and repetitive quality of the music also refers to trance-inducing and collective music practices, driven by the strong bodily affects induced through the use of rhythms. Those two compositions were recorded live during Ars Electronica 2018 at the occasion of the sleeping event "Sonatas for Sleep/less", curated by multimedia artist Shu Lea Cheang and cultural theorist Matthew Fuller. First pressing in an edition of 500.

Awesome product!
Ok so I was skeptical at 1st with all the mixed reviews but I finally decided to give it a try. Let me start off by saying this you will have to do some set up in the settings as all tvs are different and to get the best experience it will take some time and patience. After about 30 minutes of moving the towers around and tweaking the settings I finally got it working right. I am very satisfied with it as it makes watching movie so awesome. Some colors don't match up perfectly but as in shades of colors. I definitely recommend this to anyone that wants to take movie nights to the next level.

Love, love, love!
The kit is easy to install and set up. The only installation note I have is of your TV is not perfectly flat on the backside you may need to get creative when attaching the rope lights. Our TV is a 55in Amazon fire TV and because the back slants a little we had to be very intentional about where we placed the clips but in the end everything worked out.
Functionally, these lights are great and the camera does a good job reading the screen, however, we do have a ceiling light directly above our TV and if it's on the camera reads the reflection of the light as a yellow color at the bottom of the screen. We tried recalibrating with the light on a few different times but it still gets picked up. Not a huge deal, if we're using the movie mode we just turn off the ceiling light and everything works great.

Govee TV Backlight 3 Lite: My Movie Nights Just Got a Whole Lot Cooler!
This Govee TV backlight kit is an absolute game-changer! I was looking for a way to enhance my TV viewing experience, and this definitely did the trick. The installation was super easy – just peel and stick the LED strips to the back of my TV, and I was good to go. The app is intuitive and gives you tons of control over the colors, brightness, and even music sync options.
What really blew me away was how much more immersive my movies and shows feel. The lights create this awesome ambient glow that extends the colors of the screen onto the wall behind the TV. It's like having my own personal home theater! Plus, it just makes the whole room look cooler.
I've also been using the music sync feature when I'm listening to tunes, and it's a total blast. The lights dance and change color to the beat of the music, creating a really fun and vibrant atmosphere.
